Something About A Romper...

So, I cut my hair. And realized how intensely vain I am. I also realized how rash I am, because as a rebellion ( to who, Katie? ..I don't think these things through) I immediately went to the drug store and got box hair dye. for bleach blonde. This turned my hair orange, which I knew it would....yet still did? So, then the kind hairdressers at Elements Hair salon fixed my act of rage...and, ladies and gentlemen, this is what I am left with. 

Sandals: Old Navy (old)

Romper: Express via Value Village ($ 3.49)

Belt: Dump find

Necklace: Stolen from Sister's jewel Box (stolen from sister will MOST LIKELY become a new category...)

Head Band: Scrap of t-shirt I tied on my head. That's a thing.

So I have a confession: I LOVE ROMPERS. Second Confession: THEY USUALLY are the LEAST unfaltering thing that can be on my body. And then, I found this one. and it was 1/2 price. so now, I have this great old lady culottes outfit, and it makes me entirely too happy. 

Hair: I got the Bieber?

So,  My hair was just getting ratty. It had been In the past year: Bleach Blonde, Strawberry blonde, Burgundy, and finally dark brown.  My curls were limp and gross, I was getting rats nests and love dreads daily, and I simply was wearing my hair up in a ponytail on most days. So, I made the appointment, and when it was being cut, I just kept saying 'shorter'. The woman cutting my hair was awesome though. She had curls, she understood I didn't want it at my chin, b/c of my already super round face, she knew I wanted bangs still, she knew I didn't want an afro. I had her style it straight, b/c let's get real, I'm never gonna take the time to wear it straight...

 

And here it is after I let it air dry then took all of five seconds and ran a straightener over the bang area...

 
Overall, I am super happy/stoked. Thank god all the dyed and broke crap is gone!

Fashion: I want her hair...

               

These pictures inspire me to just let me hair grow grow grow...ahh the upkeep would be awful (rats nests, love dreads...) and the dye (in a dry cabin none the less...) but still... I WANT IT. It is just so big and 80s rocker....and, I have a soft spot for that. (Photos Courtesy Blondebedhead)

Ramblings: suck hair.

I got my haircut yesterday. The lady was off to a good start, asking questions, making suggestions.

it ended terribly. She didn't listen to me. She didn't listen to herself. She was scared to cut curly hair/ she probably knows nothing about cutting curly hair.

So, what did I end up with? A bunch of suck is what I ended with. I am slowly just praying for it to grow. grow. I now look at pictures, that were taken literally earlier in the day, and ask myself 'why, were you unhappy with this? It looks great. now you look suck. SUCK.'

...and I DIDN'T go with the haircut from earlier, b/c I didn't think I could pull it off, and still I got suck.

...Ill put up a picture sometime this week. sigh.

Hair: It just wouldn't look right...

I have decided I want this hair, but believe that I could in no way pull it off with my face shape, etc. damnit. cause it is super cute and awesome x 10.
